It took 2 waves of hiring to get Fort Myers Beach fire department back to full staff. They were all recognized Wednesday night at a Fort Myers Beach Fire District Board Meeting. Many firefighter families were in attendance as Chief Scott Wirth awarded them with their new Fire Department pins.
