The 8th annual Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club Tree Festival was held this past weekend. In addition to the 24 trees and wreaths that were auctioned off, the popular chili cook-off competition was again part of the event. Here are the 2025 winners.
The best restaurant chili winners:
1st place – SOB – Chef Miguel’s Famous Chili
2nd place – The Whale – Theresa Whale’s Smoky Chili
The best amateur chili category winners:
1st place – Dustin Schmucker- The Best Mother Schmucking Chili
2nd place -tie: DJ Heidtman – Lost Creek BBQ’s Smoke Steak Chili & Bob Knupp -Tip Top Chili

Wonderful Event. It really felt like the Fort Myers Beach community was back. All the kids and adults enjoying a beautiful weekend & views up on the Margaritaville Deck. Thank you to everyone who organized, participated and enjoyed the Christmas Tree Festival!
