Fort Myers Beach Dan Allers is on vacation this weekend. We have two heavy hitters filling in for him on the Sunday 10AM brunch show at Wahoo Willie’s.
At 10AM State Senator Jonathan Martin is back to talk about the legislative session that was just completed and how decisions being made in Tallahassee might impact Fort Myers Beach. We also plan to ask him if the state plans to forgive the town’s $10 million bridge loan.
At 10:30, fresh off her election to President of The Florida League of Cities, Sanibel Vice Mayor Holly Smith is back. We’ll find out how her work with the Florida League of Cities helps Southwest Florida and get an update on how the Sanibel rebuild is coming along.
We don’t need to be entertained. It would be nice if we were able to get answers. Ed tries as hard as he can to pull updates out and Allers will bloviate for 10 min on a topic and say the same thing he said the week before and at times giving out wrong information. I am 100% all about the show changing guests so we can actually get experts who can update us. You know Christy, it’s been 3 yrs since Ian….look around and you will see a mess. Nicey times are over. Our homes are plummeting in value. We need action.
