Today is the 19th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States of America. 2,977 lives were lost on September 11, 2001. In honor and remembrance of those we lost Governor DeSantis has signed a Proclamation declaring September 11, 2020 as Patriot Day and a National Day of Service and Remembrance. He has also directed the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at all local and state buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the state from sunrise to sunset.
