Public hearings have been set for the 2022-2023 proposed Lee County budget. The Board of Commissioners has set the proposed maximum millage rate at 3.8623 per $1,000 of assessed property value. That’s the same rate as the current fiscal year which means it can only go down and cannot go up.
The public hearings will be held in the Old Lee County Courthouse Commission Chambers Meeting Room September 6th and September 20th at 5:01PM.
