On Saturday, September 24, 2022, at about 7:30AM Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 700 Fisherman’s Wharf on Fort Myers Beach, which is right next to Bonita Bills restaurant. The call was to investigate a death.
Deputies made contact with the woman who called police. She said she arrived at the same location at about 2:00AM and observed the man laying on the floor snoring. She said she passed by him several times during the night and heard him snoring. When she checked on him at 7:00 , she said he wasn’t breathing and she called 911.
Medics on scene advised deputies that the unidentified white male was beyond lifesaving procedures, and medics called the time of death at 7:32AM.
LCSO tells Beach Talk Radio News that the death is non-suspicious death and there were no signs of trauma or foul play.
