The United States Coast Guard is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of its new $26 million Fort Myers Beach facility at 719 San Carlos Drive Wednesday at 10AM. The new 3-story building will replace two buildings that were home to the Coast Guard since 1980.
In attendance will be Rear Adm. Amy Grable, assistant commandant, Engineering and Logistics, Capt. Michael P. Kahle, commander, Sector St. Petersburg, Chief Warrant Officer Christopher C. Cone, commanding officer, Station Fort Myers Beach
Mayor Dan Allers will also be at the event representing the Town of Fort Myers Beach
Remember the Blackhaw 💪
I wonder if his honor Dan Allers will notice that he won’t be asked to pay $5 per hour to park his car while visiting our lovely San Carlos Island.
