Terms for Chairman Steve Johnson, Robert Howell, Rose Larkin and Jennifer Rusk all expire this year. Appointments are for two years. The Town Council will appoint new members October 7th.

Aside from Rood. If hes the boardwalk boy, then he has bo business being on it. He disregarded environmental regulations for years and then starts crying saying “but my property” over 10 years later. Like chump, domain laws exist and yes you can lose property if you leave it or let it go or someone else starts to encroach on it. But know lets cry about it and be lazy b3cause we disrgard the environment

Met Sharon at BTR’s Brunch with the Mayor show. What a kind woman who has a long history on the island. Would love to see her serve on this committee, she definitely impressed us as open minded and a great listener.
She is a wonderful lady and truly loves the beach at the south end.
Messrs. Torgerson and Rood would be excellent choices! (I’m not familiar with the third candidate.)
Rood has no business considering e was the lazy crybaby with the boardwalk. Has no business being on a “environmental” committee when he doesnt give two rats ends about the environment for his own personap gain.
Shameful this is how FMB is becoming. I pray this new council isnt so blinded by development and money that we dont lose our FMB values, Woodson and King are already killing them off.
