Tonght at 6PM beach business owners are holding their second meeting to discuss how to bring more business to the beach. After an idea-filled successful first meeting at DiamondHead, Friday’s meeting will focus on executing those ideas.
The Friday meeting is at Margaritaville Resort in the ballroom near the spa on the Sunset Terrace. Everyone is welcome. All ideas are encouraged. The Summer months are the toughest for beach businesses but we all know (Jobufest) that if we give people a reason to come to Fort Myers Beach they will come to Fort Myers Beach.
Here are a few ideas discussed at DiamondHead that will be our focus Friday night.

Every day from July 1–27, join in rotating daytime activities and themed dinners at your favorite local spots—featuring The Whale, Sandy Bottom’s, Cabana’s, Island Pancake House, and more. From beach games to sunset cookouts, it’s a chance to make memories, island-style.
Christmas in July
Look out for surprise visits from Tropical Santa, holiday-themed drink specials, ornament-making for kids, and pop-up “snowball” fights (Florida-style). Decorated venues and festive flair will keep the island merry all month long.
Finale Weekend – Mullet Madness (July 27–29)
Wrap up the month with Mullet Madness, a three-day blowout with fish dishes, throwback hairdos, live music, and local business specials all across the beach!
