This July, Southwest Florida’s creative community will light up the summer with Fireworks, a vibrant art exhibition showcasing the energy and color of local talent. Opening July 10th, the show will run through July 26th at the Fort Myers Beach Art Association’s gallery at 13451 McGregor Blvd.

Fireworks brings together a collection of works by emerging and established artists from across the area, each interpreting the theme through their own unique lens.  In her painting The Spectators, Hirdie, pastel artist Tamara Culp catches the brilliance of July sunshine on Sanibel beaches.  Also an accomplished jewelry designer and instructor, Tamara will teach a class in silver metal clay next season, one of many exciting classes to be offered by FMBAA artists and special guest artists.

The gallery is located in the Cypress Square shopping center – next to the Prawnbrokers Restaurant. The gallery’s summer hours are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, noon to 6:00pm. For more information, GO HERE.
