Several of you have asked about the building in this picture – 2100 Estero Boulevard. Chris Loffreno from Loffreno Real Estate tells us that a permit has been applied for with the town to demolish the building.
That building was part of Polynesian Villas Condos. There were two buildings with a total of 15 units. The back building was completely washed away by Hurricane Ian. The owners voted not to rebuild. The insurance claim issue was very recently closed which is why it sat untouched for so long. The owners were told if they did anything to the building it would impact their claim.
The property is for sale. It’s approximately 90′ wide by 210′ deep. It’s zoned for condos, possibly a small hotel or commercial/office commercial. The asking price is $3.5 million.
