The Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club has announced that local builder Cole Stinson, owner of Vesselcraft Homes, is now partnering with the organization to build its new clubhouse on Fort Myers Beach.

Seagate was announced as the original builder but the Woman’s Club has moved on to Stinson who has lived his entire life on Fort Myers Beach. “I grew up here. This beach shaped who I am. To help rebuild a place that has given so much to our community is an incredible honor. This isn’t just another project — it’s home.”

As part of the partnership, Stinson will be recruiting local subcontractors and tradespeople to participate in the build.

Woman’s Club spokesperson Mari Torgerson said this collaboration is a huge step forward in bringing its long-anticipated new facility to life. “Our clubhouse has always been more than just a building. It represents service, resilience, and community spirit. Partnering with someone who grew up on this beach and understands its heart makes this project even more special.”

Partnering with the Woman’s Club and Vesselcraft Construction is also architect, Albert Dambrose from Studio AD and Engineer, James Ink, from Ink Engineering.

Construction timelines and opportunities for subcontractors will be announced in the coming weeks. Local trades interested in being considered for the project are encouraged to connect with Vesselcraft Homes.
