The Florida Highway Patrol is teaming up with the Lee County Sheriff to conduct Operation P.E.D.S. (Pedestrian Education and Developing Safety) on Estero Boulevard, today from 8AM to 10:30AM. The goal is to decrease the amount of injuries and deaths through education in an area prone to pedestrian and bicyclist involved crashes.
