It’s another sign the Margaritaville Resort is on its way to finally becoming a reality.
As part of the Margaritaville approval process years ago, TPI agreed to turn over the piece of property located at 1054 5th street to the town of Fort Myers Beach.
The entire process was delayed by a lawsuit brought by a local resident, backed by a competing hotel, attempting to stop the project.
On Monday, the town council adopted a resolution to accept that piece of property, located hear the foot of the Matanzas Bridge.
