The Mother of All Raffles For The VFW
By now you’ve probably heard that we’re raising money to help the Fort Myers Beach VFW from closing its doors. They are in need of $25,000 to pay storm-related bills and a very generous Fort Myers Beach resident is willing to match anything we raise up to $50,000.

Celebration of Life For Mike Greenwell
Lee County Commissioner and former Boston Red Sox great Mike Greenwell died last week after a short battle with cancer. The Celebration of Life will include comments from the commissioner’s family, elected officials and Boston Red Sox representatives.

Could We Finally See A New Times Square Building?
The owner of Kilwins Chocolates will go before the LPA Tuesday with a plan to rebuild in Times Square. Kilwins was located on .03 acres of property next to Bella Mozzarella before it was swallowed like a grape by Hurricane Ian.
Myerside Headed Back to LPA
Next week Myerside Resort owners Beverly Milligan and Rolland Weinmann will be back before the Local Planning Agency to ask that their approved project be amended to include serving alcohol outside.
Catholic Church Unveiling New Building Today
Today at 2PM parishioners from the Church of The Ascension on Fort Myers Beach will see plans and renderings of the new building the church plans to build at 6025 Estero Boulevard. We will broadcast that meeting live.

School District Sending Ribble to Deal With Town
On Tuesday night the Lee County School District chose board member Bill Ribble to represent the district in the first conflict resolution meeting with the Town of Fort Myers Beach regarding the beach school.
