The Fort Myers Beach Art Association’s Michele Buelow organized an Art Bazaar at Santini Plaza Sunday. 13 artists sold hand-made jewelry, cards, paintings and scarves. All original pieces. No prints or reproductions.
The artists receive 80% commission on their individual sales, and the FMBAA will use their 20% (after expenses) to fund the Student Awards Program they sponsor. The FMBAA donates awards to the winners of the senior art show every year in February at the local high school.
Great chance to get back to some normal activities for the Fort Myers Beach Art Association! Thank you to everyone who visited the event and all who bought art. And thank you to all who participated! We appreciate everyone’s support
Al Durrett would be proud to see this happening at Santini.
Thanks BTR, Santini Marina Plaza Management and merchants and the town for supporting the Art Association . The sale was a success and everyone enjoyed seeing the art and artists. Funds raised will help support the FMBAA school programs.
Watch for more news about FMBAA soon.
