The former Bahama Beach Club, located at 5370 and 5371 Estero Boulevard, has unveiled plans to rebuild. The condo units at that location were destroyed by Hurricane Ian.
The BBC condo association plans to rebuild 22 units in 11 modular buildings. They have property on both sides of Estero Boulevard. There are 22 owners of the condo.
Architect Albert D’Ambrose, who’s part of the rebuild team, says the structures could be up and open by the second quarter of 2026. Bahama Beach Club did not have to go through the LPA or Town Council, according to D’Ambrose, because they were not asking for any variances of deviations. They are simply building back what they had before and meeting the current setback requirements.
The design was getting a lot of love when we posted the pictures on our Facebook page HERE.
