The building that sits on the corner of Times Square at 1028 Fifth street just sold for $4.5 million. The building, which is now home to Coldstone Creamery (800 square feet) and a t-shirt shop (2000 square feet), sold for $625,000 in 2009.
The ice cream shop has a long-term lease, however, the Teeki Hut t-shirt shop appears to be closed.
The property was sold by Krohn Investments to German investor Hans-Dieter Birkart who is also a resident on Sanibel.Krohn purchased the building for $625,000 in 2009.
The building got a complete overhaul after Hurricane Irma came through in 2017.
