One day shy of 3 years to the day Hurricane Ian wiped Beach Discount Liquor & Wine off the map, the business is hosting a grand reopening celebration Saturday and it will now be called Nick’s Liquors.
Nick’s is located on the bottom level of The Harbour House on Old San Carlos across the street from Nervous Nellie’s. The original location when it was called Beach Discount & Liquor was located where Margaritaville is located now. The store was there for 25 years. The store then moved to Key Estero Shops near the post office. That location was destroyed in the Hurricane.
The Grand Reopening Celebration will include giveaways, liquor tasting, and lunch by ‘Chef Mark.’ The Saturday event is an all day event/
