Everyone on Council agreed that the firm has done an outstanding job for the taxpayers of Fort Myers Beach. About the Vose Law Firm, Mayor Dan Allers said, their team is “exceptional.” Councilman Scott Safford added, “You get what you pay for. This is money well spent. What we’re getting is a Ferrari.” Councilman John King said, “I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve done for this town.”

Becky Vose, who attended the meeting with Zoom said, “You’ll be wonderful. I couldn’t ask for a better Town Council to work with. We have to pinch ourselves that we are the town attorney here. We thoroughly enjoy working with you.” Attorney Nancy Stuperach who attends all of the Town Council and LPA meetings added, “We love being here. It’s been personally satisfying and enlightening to see the transformation and resilience of this town.”

In their request for more money, the firm stated they saved the town over a million in litigation-related efforts: Terry Persaud $250,000, Key Estero $188,000 and Nature View Court $730,000.

Hiring a new attorney was a campaign promose made by John King and Karen Woodson in November of 2022. When they were elected, former Town Attorney John Herin’s contract was not renewed and The Vose Law Firm was hired.
