Funds are being raised at an event to support Fort Myers Beach teachers at the elementary school. Tickets are $30 per person and include one drink and appetizers. The money will be used to help teachers load up on supplies they need for the school year.
Town Council Approves Whale Variances
On Monday, the Fort Myers Beach Town Council approved three variances that will allow owners Mike and Dawn Miller to begin the rebuild of their restaurant. Last month the LPA also approved the variances.

The Beach Medical Center, run by Beth Ulman, and formerly located at 6051 Estero Boulevard on Fort Myers Beach, has a new temporary location in Bonita. They are now open and available to provide beach residents with health care.

You Did it Again
It took 18 minutes for an army of yellow shirted volunteers to build the Fort Myers Beach Christmas Poinsettia tree in Times Square. The tree has been a landmark for beach selfies since 1996 and was a shining ray of hope when it was put up one year ago, shortly after Ian. Check out photos from the Thursday morning build HERE.
