Fort Myers Beach Dan Allers has been saying on a near-weekly basis that if you do work on your home or business without a permit you will eventually get caught. With yet another Hurricane now in the Fort Myers Beach books, the town is reminding everyone to follow the rules.

Hurricane Milton was the reason the most recent Town Council and LPA meetings were canceled. Mayor Dan Allers told Beach Talk Radio on Sunday when both the Council and LPA will get back together.

After a confusing September 23rd Town Council meeting when EIBC was not supposed to be on the agenda, then it was on the agenda, before being taken off, the owners of EIBC will see Monday if the Town Council likes their new building. 

70 days after local builder Joe Orlandini and 3rd party inspector Steve Brockman botched his inspections with the Town of Fort Myers Beach, Greg Scasny has been given the green light to restart construction on his new home.

Big, big decisions will be made by the Fort Myers Beach Local Planning Agency in the months and years to come. On Monday the Fort Myers Beach Town Council will decide who will make those decisions. 

After Hurricane Ian the permitting process was like the Wild, Wild, West. The Town of Fort Myers Beach is not letting that happen post Hurricane Helene.
