Shaving Heads For Cancer
Every Friday in September community leaders will shave their heads and go bald to help raise money for kids fighting cancer. Sanibel-Captiva Chamber of Commerce President John Lai will have his head shaven today for Cali who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when she was three years old.

Bay Oaks Institutes Mask Mandate For Kids
Following in the footsteps of the Lee County School District, Bay Oaks will now require kids in its after-school program to wear masks. Parents were told to make sure their kids have a mask and that they are required to wear it. The policy will be reviewed in 30 days.
Women’s Club Raising Funds
The Fort Myers Beach Women’s Club is raising money so they can construct a climate-controlled shed on their property. The organization has set a goal of $10,000 and if the new structure is built it will allow the club to work to reopen the stage which they had to close off for storage. Setback For Arches
