Some of you may have noticed that the contractor has not been working on the Lynn Hall bathrooms every day recently. Representatives from Lee County told us Monday that the contractor is waiting on plumbing parts.

County Getting $3.8 Million To Help The Homeless

As part of a $5 billion distribution by the federal government, Lee County is getting $3.8 million to help battle its homeless problem. It's unknown exactly how Lee County will spend the money or if Fort Myers Beach will receive any funds.

Beach Bus Service To End Later This Month

Lee County has announced LeeTran's seasonal schedule changes which includes the bus services ending on Fort Myers Beach Sunday, April 25. The Beach Trolley will transition to an off-season schedule.

Kiwanis Meeting In Person Again

The Fort Myers Beach Kiwanis is resuming in-person meetings starting with an April 22 gathering at Bonita Bills. The speaker for the meeting will be a representative from Valerie’s House.

Full Moon Yoga At Lovers Key

Full Moon Yoga and Meditation on the Beach will take place at Lovers Key State Park on Monday, April 26th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. This class will be led by an instructor from the Saba Movement Center and FMB Yoga Project.

Arches One Step Closer to Reconstruction

Earlier this week, Lee County Commissioner Ray Sandelli brought a motion to the full board directing staff to develop an agreement with the Town of Fort Myers Beach and Restore The Arches to reconstruct a portion of the arches that were once the gateway to the island.
