The Sanibel City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday night. Three consulting firms will be considered to help the city search for a new manager. Back in May Judy Zimomra announced she's retiring in September after 20 years as manager of Sanibel.

One of the first things Jesse Purdon did when elected to the Bonita Springs City council was look at the contract Bonita had with LCSO. He noticed that while the city was growing it was not adding more deputies to its community policing program. Purdon planned to change that quickly.
