With COVID cases rising here in Southwest Florida, and 22 teachers on quarantine at one Lee County school, Lee Health is hosting a Facebook Town Hall today at 2 p.m. CEO Larry Antonucci and Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialist Stephanie Stovall will take questions.

Cases, Deaths Climbing. New Testing Site Opens
On Monday, Lee Health reported a record 629 COVID-19 patients in its hospitals, 8 of them under 18. Since Friday, there were 226 new COVID-19 admissions, 175 discharges and 22 deaths. Lee Health also opened a new testing site.

While turtle nesting/hatching season continues, there are no new nests to report this week on Fort Myers Beach. We're still at 87 nests with 18 hatched nests according to Turtle Time.
