Kim’s Sunday Boat Tour
This Sunday Scott Coleman from Walker's Marine will take Kim on a water tour of the Back Bay starting at Snug Harbor. They’ll be riding in a 29-foot 2024 Regal LX9. Kim and Scott go live on our Facebook page at 12PM.
Friends of Matanzas Pass Preserve Meeting
On May 20th at 11AM The Friends of The Matanzas Preserve will hold their annual meeting at 11AM at the Estero Island Historical Society building at 161 Bay Road on Fort Myers Beach.
FEMA To End Town Probation in November
On Monday FEMA notified the Town of Fort Myers Beach that it had met the requirements to be removed from probation under the National Flood Insurance Program, effective November 18, 2025.

Honey Finds A New Home
Back in January many of you helped us raise $7,500 for Honey whose body was littered with buckshot. Your donations helped get her through multiple surgeries. On Saturday, at our Pet Adoption day at Margaritaville, Honey was adopted.

On Saturday we gave you an update on Santini Plaza businesses and the Leonardo Arms beach renourishment. The town made a lot of people happy at Leonardo now that they have about 150 feet of new beach. Watch the walkaround HERE.

The Fort Myers Beach Art Association is hosting a soft opening party this Thursday from 4PM to 6PM at their new location at 13451 McGregor Blvd., Suite 1 at the corner of McGregor and Cypress Lake next to Prawnbrokers Restaurant.

Lee County Parks & Recreation is transitioning its paid parking locations to a system that allows residents and visitors to pay by text, mobile app, through a website or at a kiosk. The change includes several locations on Fort Myers Beach.
