Beachfront property owners Eddie Rood and Kurt Kroemer, who've been asking the town to permit a dune walkover, for access to the beach from their properties, have filed a lawsuit against the state of Florida challenging the state's claim of ownership of the property behind their homes.
Veach Apologizes For Inappropriate Maskless Photo
At the end of Monday's meeting, Fort Myers Beach Town Councilman Bill Veach apologized for this picture which was taken at a September council meeting. Earlier this year the Town Council approved a social distancing and mask mandate which this picture clearly violates.

On Friday Republican Congressional candidate Byron Donalds tested negative for COVID-19. He met with President Trump at The White House on September 23.

While the town of Fort Myers Beach did pass a budget that does not raise taxes, nearly every fee a contractor pays, whether its for commercial or residential work, will increase in 2021. And, of course, that increase will trickle down to you.

Chamber Membership Lunch at Charley’s
