On Sunday we handed off a check for $4,815 to Justin Rodriguez that you raised for him in 90 minutes on Friday. Justin’s first-born son passed away at only 4 months old and the money will go toward medical bills and the funeral.
S.O.B. Returns All The Money
On Sunday during our first segment, Angie and Hank Leitnaker from The S.O.B were guests along with Dawn Thomas, President of The Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club. S.O.B won "Best Hole” in the 202 Woman’s Club Putt & Pub and were awarded $1,000.

425 Tickets Have Now Been Sold
425 tickets have been sold for for the second annual Mr’s Roper Caftan Crawl to benefit FMB Strong on Saturday, February 8th. The pub crawl starts at 11AM, it will make 9 stops and it begins at Margaritaville.
Historical Society Hosting Free Educational Event
Ellie Bunting and Terri Cain will be the guest speakers on Monday, February 10th called Preserving Our Preserves: Protecting the Natural Treasures of Estero Island. The event is free and open to the public, however, donations to the EIHS are encouraged.
Art Association Fundraiser is Thursday
The Fort Myers Beach Art Association is hosting a fundraiser Thursday, January 30th from 4PM to 6PM at the Clive Daniel Showroom on Gladiolus in Fort Myers. A $25 donation is required to attend.
Registration is Open For The Shrimp Festival Kids Race
The first 100 elementary grade students that register will receive a free race shirt for the 1-mile run on Saturday, March 1st at 8AM. The run begins at the Connecticut Street Beach Access. Register HERE.
