Illuminations Parade is This Saturday
What’s Up FMB is hosting the inaugural Illuminations Parade at dusk Saturday. The parade is a lantern-lit procession filled with color, creativity, and family fun. The parade starts at Bayside Park, heads up Old San Carlos to the beach and finishes at DiamondHead.
Transforming The Terrace
A portion of the Margaritaville Resort Sunset Terrace has been under a bit of construction lately. TPI Hospitality, the owners of the resort, are converting the area that overlooks the beach (and the sunset) to what will be called The License to Chill Theater.
Pickleball Tournament is This Weekend
The Fort Myers Beach Kids Foundationis hosting a pickleball tournament at Bay Oaks on Saturday. There will be giveaways that you can register for without even attending the event.
Did You See The Whale Ribbon Cutting?

New Big Carlos Pass Bridge To Open Next Week
The new south end $90.8 million bridge project began in Summer 2023. Two years later it’s ready to open for traffic. Crews will begin to shift traffic to the new bridge at 11 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, through 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14.
Free Beach Tram Returns This Month
The Lee County beach tram will start running again on Thursday, November 20th. The free tram runs about every 30-40 minutes, seven days a week from Fort Myers Beach Public Library to Bowditch Point Park.
Persaud Unveils Building For New Sunset Grill
Terry Persaud has unveiled his Times Square Sunset Grill Building. Persaud lost his restaurant in Hurricane Ian. He’s been operating his public parking lot since the storm and has presented several plans to rebuild.

Beach School Mediation Meeting is Tomorrow
The town of Fort Myers Beach and the Lee County School District will meet tomorrow at 1PM to try to resolve the issue of the future of the Beach School before the town possibly files a lawsuit against the district.Â
