Margaritaville Hosting Autism Event
On Jimmy Buffett Day, August 29th, Margaritaville Resort on Fort Myers Beach is supporting My Autism Connection as part of the brand’s “Day of Service.” From 10A-2P , the resort will host a Carnival of Fun on the Sunset Terrace and in the Compass Rose Ballroom.
Free Parking This Weekend
As part of Parks and Recreation Month, Lee County will be offering free parking at Bowditch Point Park and Lynn Hall Memorial park this Saturday and Sunday.
All Trailers Must Be Gone in 60 Days
On Wednesday the Town of Fort Myers Beach sent out a press release reminding residents and business owners using trailers to live in, or to operate a business out of, they must be gone by September 23rd, 2025.

The event hadn't been held on Fort Myers Beach since before COVID. This past Saturday Crescent Beach Park was filled with smiling faces with the return of the annual Surfers With Autism event sponsored in part by Lee County.
