Chionopoulos is Back
Local attorney Mike Chionopoulos heard about how the town of Fort Myers Beach went after Nervous Nellie's and threatened them with a $5,000 fine. He has an opinion about that and plans to express it tomorrow morning on Beach Talk Radio. Mike is on the Mic at 9:30 live from Pete's Time Out.
The Lions Need Our Help
For the second year in a row, the town of Fort Myers Beach canceled the Shrimp Festival, which would have been this weekend. Normally Lynn Hall Park would be swarming with vendors, visitors would be drooling over jumbo shrimp and volunteer Lions would be running around frantically making sure the event went off without a hitch.

On Monday, despite the Governor's Executive Order that states local governments cannot limit how restaurants operate, the town of Fort Myers Beach has threatened Nervous Nellie's with a $5,000 fine for a planned St. Patrick's Day party. The town claims the business is in violation of the town's COVID ordinance.
