Mitsch To Speak on Algal Blooms

Labor Day Trump Boat Parades Set For Area
Two Labor Day boat parades are being held in the area for those who support President Donald Trump. There are two starting points for a parade that starts in Pine Island, sponsored by Rezny Wealth Management. There's also one scheduled to start at 11AM at the midpoint Bridge being organized by Raven Ventura.
Town Searching For Committee Members
The Town of Fort Myers Beach is looking for volunteers to serve on several committees that provide input to the town council on beach issues. Interested residents should GO HERE for more information and to fill out an application.

SWFL In Early Cone of Next Storm
Tropical Depression 13 has formed in the Atlantic and the early prediction for the storm has Southwest Florida in the path. The storm is forecast to strengthen and if it turns into a storm it will be called Laura. Forecasts have the storm arriving in Florida around Monday.
