After nearly two-and-a-half years of being closed, the Fort Myers Beach Library re-opened Sunday with a big celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony. About 400 people attended the 4-hour event that included tours of the library, food trucks and live music.

The Fort Myers Beach Art Association’s Michele Buelow organized an Art Bazaar at Santini Plaza Sunday. 13 artists sold hand-made jewelry, cards, paintings and scarves. All original pieces. No prints or reproductions.
