New Temporary Trailer Rules Are Coming
The discussion about what to do with businesses operating out of trailers will begin on Thursday at the Town Council's Management & Planning session. Mayor Dan Allers said Monday we have to come up with an end date.

Another Sign of Post-Ian Progress
The park at the base of the Matanzas Pass Bridge is owned by Lee County and was closed after Hurricane Ian. Lee County, removed the chain link fence surrounding the pool and opened the park back up this past Friday.
Our Concert Raised $6,500
Our Saturday concert at The Woman's Club on Fort Myers Beach raised $6,500 all to benefit the Woman's Club. Both 50/50 raffle winners donated all the money back and additional revenue was raised through ticket sales and beer and wine sales.
Town Will Be Demolishing Structures in April

How We’re Helping The Art Association Tomorrow
ART on the Beach is a fundraising event to help rebuild the Fort Myers Beach Art Association Gallery. Five artists have donated an original painting for auction. Each artist will be interviewed on Beach Talk Radio tomorrow (rain or shine) and you can bid on their paintings online NOW.

Fort Myers Beach Art Association’s Plein Air painters will be painting the blessing of the FMB Shrimp Fleet this Sunday at 1100 Shrimp Boat Lane (off Main Street prior to going over the bridge).
Your Newest LPA Member is John McLean
McLean received four out of five votes from the Town Council Monday with Ed Schoonover received the other. McLean will fill the spot left open when Scott Safford was appointed to an open seat on the Town Council. McLean's first LPA meeting is March 12th.
Lee County to Fund Chamber Budgets
Unless the item gets pulled from their consent agenda, the Lee County Board of Commissioners will quickly approve over $629,000 in TDC money to fund three Chambers of Commerce, including Fort Myers Beach. The money will be used to replenish their budgets.
