Owner Says He’s Knocking The Ugly Duckling House Down
At a Special Magistrate hearing Tuesday, attorney Noel Davies, representing Sergei Kaminskiy, told Judge John Laningham that a demo contract has been signed and as soon as a permit is issued by the town, the structure will be gone within 30 days. The town is skeptical.
Food Truck Finale
After a 6 hour Town Council public hearing last month, the final vote on the proposed food truck entertainment venue on Estero Boulevard will be taken Monday. The Town Council voted 5-0 to move the item to Monday’s final public hearing. There were stipulations.
The Arches Back on The LPA Agenda

Under New Management
The Town of Fort Myers Beach is losing its current Town Manager Andy Hyatt, and now, its Finance Director. Joe Onzick, who was hired in March of 2023, gave his 30-day notice April 1st. It appears the number of hours he has to put in to get the job done was just too much.
