The Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce Water Foundation has constructed a new Public Water Quality Monitoring Station at the Mound House on Connecticut Street on Fort Myers Beach.

The station—developed in collaboration with the Town of Fort Myers Beach and the Florida Gulf Coast University Water School—was made possible through a grant. The station provides real-time water quality data to the public, helping raise awareness about environmental health and sustainability.

A Ribbon Cutting Event will be held at the Mound House Saturday, June 14th at 10AM. “This station empowers the public with science,” said Liszak, President, FMBCC. “It reflects our commitment to protecting our waters through research, outreach, and education.”
