As we continue to rotate the Sunday guest chair around to the full Town Council, Councilman Scott Safford is our guest Sunday at 10AM at Wahoo Willie’s. The Mayor returns March 2nd. Arrive early to get a good seat. It’s season and the crowds have been big.
Deleted my comment again… so much for unbiased reporting.
I do not believe anyone should be allowed to have chickens on the island. I suggested that Debbie M should buy eggs at Publix like the rest of us and I mentioned that if she really wants farm animals, she should consider moving to Labelle or Plant City. Chickens on the beach, give me a break.
I am interested to find out why people who are buying lots for homes – post Ian – are being allowed to put their RV or trailer, string lights, fences, etc. on their property? The Island is starting to look like one big RV park. I understand the property owners who lost their home in the hurricane but I know of 2 lots in my neighborhood that were purchased after Ian and they now have RV/trailers on the lot and are living in them.
Ed can you ask him if we are allowed to have egg laying hens? I saw a news report and Lee Country allows 4 hens per 800sq st of land. No roosters. It was on several news stations. I’m going to guess the answer is no because of course FMB council usually votes no on things that would help the residents.
