If you listen to 96K Rock you are certainly familiar with The Dave & Chuck The Freak Morning Show. On October 14th, Dave & Chuck, along with Shuckers and The Cottage Bar, are hosting a .5K Run Run and Party, from 5PM to Midnight.
The race begins at 7PM and starts at The Fort Myers Beach pier. The finish line is directly behind Shucker’s.
A VIP party will be held from 5:30PM to 6:30PM at the Beach Bar Cabana with Dave and Chuck. Tickets for the VIP party are on sale now on the KROCK website.
A silent auction will be held to benefit the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce. Winners from the auction will be announced between 8:30 and 9PM at The Cottage.

In partnership with Beasley Media, Corona/Pacifico and the FMB Chamber of Commerce, we are proud to welcome nationally syndicated radio hosts Dave & Chuck the Freak for their annual 5k Fun Run. The race starts at the pier and ends directly behind our Beach Bar with participants encouraged to dress up in the most creative costumes they can think of. Tickets are available for the VIP pre party starting at 5:30 in our cabana on the 96 KROCK website, Local legends Stan & Haney will be joining us once their afternoon show ends, the race is at 7 with the after party beginning at 8 pm up in the Cottage with the hands down baddest of all local bands Smack Daddy bringing the house down until midnight. If you wanna see the best FMB has to offer, do not miss this event. And don’t forget, if you’ve been to FMB but haven’t been to Shucker’s, The Cottage or our Beach Bar, then you haven’t really been to Fort Myers Beach.”
