Do Not Get A Parking Ticket

If you’ve parked in Lynn Hall Park recently you may have seen these signs with bags over them. Do not think that means you can park for free.

There are several other, newer signs (see picture to the right) that Lee County has put up with instructions on how to use their new parking app system. They are not in every parking spot so you may need to walk over to another parking spot to use the new system. The bagged signs will be replaced with new signs that have just been delivered.

Before Hurricane Ian you had to pay for parking the old-school way, by putting money into a machine and putting a ticket on your windshield.

There are times Lee County waives the parking fee for Lynn Hall, Bowditch and other parks owned by the county. Those free weekends are always announced way in advance.

  1. How much would a ticket be? I hope not as much as Sanibel parking system, which was $150! Poor system if you ask me. I’m over dealing with these new parking systems/apps everywhere. No thank you. I’ll go to beaches that are free or a fee per vehicle.
