On the other side of that I bought my condo in 2007, rehab it in 2017 have over $400,000 invested into it. It’s on the first floor on the beach, currently being repaired and should open soon. But reality I doubt I could get the money I have invested into it. There are a lot of condos on the beach in the 400k range that are for sale and not selling.
No condos in the area are selling right now. The new laws are scaring folks off. I saw on the news the other night that there are 4400 condos for sale in Lee County. I didn’t check that figure because I wasn’t sure where to do so, but that’s a staggering number.
Hang in there, things will get better.
Higher interest rates are bad right now. Maybe after the election is done and the interest rate come down, condos and houses will sell again. Just a thought.
