The 16th annual International Film Festival begins Tuesday at The Beach Theater on Fort Myers Beach. The event that brings independent filmmakers to Fort Myers Beach from all over the world runs through May 1st.
The 2022 Fort Myers Beach International Film Festival expands over six days
including its opening reception, screenings, filmmaker meet-ups finishing with a
closing awards reception. New and returning patrons will experience close to 100
films in various genres ranging from shorts packages, documentaries and features
produced by local, national, and international independent filmmakers.

organizers, hard—working volunteers and our patrons, said Festival executive
