FMB Strong, a 501c3 that delivers supplies to 33931 residents in need, has lost the government funding that allowed them to keep staff employed full time. As a result, they will be losing more than half their staff.
They have created the FMB Strong Employee Wage Fund to raise money to keep a handful of employees. This will allow them to remain open and continue to serve the community.
You can donate to that fund HERE.
Employee fund? I had no idea that these people were not volunteers. What are the hours of operation of this place and what are they doing for the community now?Where is this place located? Maybe if we knew the hours they are open, and what they are still doing and who is still coming in for help, we could figure out a volunteer schedule and have it operating by volunteers and not paid employees and we could see who still needs help. I am sure there are many people that would be willing to volunteer if there is still a big need for help.
Done! Just a thought, Ed…might want to post this on your main FB page as well. Not everyone gets the newsletter..
