“ART on the Beach” is a fundraising event to help rebuild the Fort Myers Beach Art Association Gallery. Five artists have donated an original painting for auction. Each artist will be interviewed on Beach Talk Radio Saturday at License to Chill at Margaritaville, rain or shine.

FMBAA Plein Air Artists will also be painting along old San Carlos Blvd from 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and selling their paintings at Bayside Veterans Memorial Park from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
For 70 years, the Art Association has been part of the fabric of this island. Starting with artists gathering under a chickee hut it eventually evolved to a working gallery build in 1968. Today, even without a home, they continue to provide a venue for local artists, scholarships for aspiring students, and make Art part of our community culture. Please help bring Art back to the beach.
