As we reported Tuesday, Town Councilman Jim Atterholt and FMB Public Information Officer Jenny Dexter will be launching a print campaign in March to get local residents and snowbirds to engage with their elected representatives on water quality. Here are some helpful links to help you get to your elected officials.
Dexter says because the town, in addition to local residents, is asking people who live on Fort Myers Beach part-time, and somewhere else part-time, to create personal, handwritten letters, they’ll need to look up the names and addresses of their senators and representatives.
They are also asking people to write Governor DeSantis if they want to. These are all of the websites where the names and addresses you need can be found (Florida specific, and the rest of the country).
