A Hurricane Ian Recovery Conversation & Workshop scheduled for Thursday in Fort Myers has been canceled due to the uncertain weather headed our way this week.
Hurricane and disaster reporter Jake Bittle, who works for a magazine called Grist, was to host the free event which included State Rep. Adam Botana, a representative from FEMA and Florida’s Deputy Insurance Commissioner at Florida Southwestern State College on College Parkway.
The folks at Grist are looking into future dates to reschedule the event.
