Do not be alarmed if you see groups of four walking around Fort Myers Beach tomorrow dressed in funky costumes. It’s all part of the 13th annual Putt & Pub hosted by The Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club and sponsored by The King Family Foundation.
During the Putt & Pub 9 local non-profit groups and 9 area bars and restaurants, create a championship mini “golf course” throughout the north end of the island. Teams of 4 come in costume to compete for one of the many coveted prizes, win raffle prizes, and enjoy drink specials…all to support multiple causes.
The shotgun start for the event is 10:30AM. Even though the event is sold out to teams, every location will have drink specials for spectators to enjoy and the awards ceremony at Margaritaville, which includes music on the big stage, will be hosted by a big-time local star.
