It’s a Minor Miracle

After a tremendous amount of damage was inflicted on the entire beach side of Margaritaville, Lah De Dah is set to open in two days with Fins Up Beach Club and the pool opening up one day later.

Milton smashed a wooden deck through the garage doors at Lah De Dah causing unexpected additional damage from the storm. The pool was filled with tons of sand for the second time in a month. Over 100 people worked on the pool to get it cleaned out and ready to open less than three weeks after Milton crashed onto Fort Myers Beach.

Lah De Dah will reopen their doors at 11am on Thursday. They will air the Vikings vs Rams game Thursday night with game day specials.

Fin’s Up Beach Club will be open to resort guests only on Friday and open to the public again on Monday, October 28th at 9AM.

Local Heros Day, 55 and Fabulous, and Thursdays Ladies night will all resume next week.

  1. …just saw on the news that the Rd Coconut plans have been shot down 🤬 I wish that all the negative and mindless people, would LEAVE!!! These big businesses and corporations would be the saviors of us all ~ WHY y’all can’t accept change is beyond me…Ian took the nostalgic, small structures ~ but nothing can take away the Gulf of Mexico ~ so, why do you people continually vote down whatever beauty and modernization that they’re trying to promote????? The past is GONE, people ~ get that through your head(s)!!!!! Stop with your negativity and try (just TRY), to imagine an even MORE beautiful and MORE prosperous FMB!!!!! Or, MOVE AWAY!!! This place will always look like a ghost town, because of people like YOU! And, you KNOW who you ARE!!!!!

  2. If Margaritaville, Tiki hut, Lighthouse can accomplish this after 2 back to back storms. What’ s the excuse from the owners leaving ALL the neglected properties on the Island for the past two years. Come on folks do the right thing and clean up your properties & stop making excuses. Kudos to the above group and all the folks who do the right thing.

    • FORT MYERS BEACH STRONG, not “Big Woop,” you idiot!!! This is BIG, that they have accomplished this ~ their guests are revenue for our town and, seeing as what you must think ~ I can only imagine, that YOU are probably one of the property owners that still look like the “day after Ian!!!”

  3. All hail Margaritaville! They are the true saviors of our slice of paradise. And all the individual restaurants that were able to reopen. Tiki hut at the Lighthouse 2 hurricanes in 2 weeks is unprecedented.
Stick to the plan, 3 stories over parking. Mville figured it out.
