On Friday, May 20th the Fort Myers Beach Kiwanis Club welcomed special guest speakers Fire Official Jennifer Campbell and Life Safety Specialist Bill Genevrino from the Fort Myers Beach Fire Department.
Club members received a Fire Department safety presentation, which included a CPR demonstration. Campbell and Genevrino answered questions about first aid, fire hazards, AEDs, code violations, and the status of the new building construction being planned for Station 31.

The season’s last two Kiwanis membership meetings are coming up on Friday, June 10 and June 24 at 7:30 a.m. at Bonita Bills, 702 Fisherman’s Wharf, San Carlos Island. The guest speakers will be Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve’s Stephanie Erickson on June 10 and Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jacki Liszak on June 24.
Meetings are $3 (which covers the 50-50 raffle) and a hot breakfast may be ordered from the Bonita Bill’s menu (cash only). The Kiwanis Board of Directors are busy planning for the upcoming year, and will continue to meet through the summer.
