On Wednesday Margaritaville officially announced that the official grand opening of its Fort Myers Beach location will be December 21st. For weeks the resort has been taking reservations for stays beginning on that day.
The resort sits on 7.25 acres along Fort Myers Beach with direct beach access and views of the Gulf of Mexico. The property features 254 guest rooms, six restaurants, including JWB Grill, License to Chill and 5’o’clock Somewhere Bar and Grill, and the beachside Fins Up Beach Club. All restaurants, as well as the 43,000-square-foot Sunset Terrace, are open to the public.
The property offers food and beverage service across 19,000 square feet of sandy beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Valet parking is available for guests and the public at a daily rate. Residents in the 33931 zip code receive a 25% discount on food, beverage and merchandise. Get more information in the discount HERE.

The discount program was negotiated by the (previous) town council years ago for the benefit of FMB residents (33931).
To qualify, you need a Florida DL showing the 33931 zip and a recent utility bill.
Margaritaville will soon announce the dates that people can stop by to sign up for the program; full details are on their website. Margaritaville also explained the program in the recent walk-through done by BTR; you can replay the video anytime on BTR’s page.

We are in zip code 33908 but lived in 33931 for 11 yrs. Hurricane took everything so now just across he highway to he new zip code. We all were here for years watching for this to finally get here. Don’t leave us out

I am aware the pool and fins up bar will not be open until mid January. Is the public beach bar, LA Deh Dah opening in December or January?
The resort, St Somewhere Spa, License to Chill, Lah Da, JWB Grill and Coconut Telegraph will open in December – hopefully early December.

While final touches are underway, you can count on spectacular views of the fireworks, whether dancing to the tunes of OTP Band on the Sunset Terrace or enjoying DJ 007 beachside at La De Dah.
