The 11th Annual Island Hopper Songwriter Fest is this month, and Margaritaville Resort on Fort Myers Beach will be hosting the kick-off event on Friday, Sept. 19, in addition to a packed weekend of live music September 26th through the 28th.
The free music festival showcases more than 100 performances at island venues throughout Southwest Florida. The greatest BMI singer-songwriters from Nashville and nationwide will travel to Southwest Florida for the 10-day music festival that commences on Fort Myers Beach. Most of the shows, including the kick-off event, are free with the exception of select ticketed and specialty shows.
Margaritaville Resort will host the following free shows during the festival weekend:
- Kick-off event on Friday, Sept. 19 at 4 p.m.: Claudia Hoyser, Danny Myrick, Megan Linville, Erick Willis, Sheena Brook, The Reed Brothers and Adam Craig
- Friday, Sept. 26 at 7:15 p.m.: Dave Pahanish and Erick Willis
- Friday, Sept. 26 at 8:45 p.m.: Essex County
- Saturday, Sept. 27 at 2:30 p.m.: Adam Craig
- Saturday, Sept. 27 at 4 p.m.: Brian Sutherland and Tim McGeary
- Saturday, Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m.: Sheena Brook and Kurt Stevens
- Saturday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m.: The Reed Brothers and Ralph Curtis
- Sunday, Sept. 28 at 1:15 p.m.: Danny Myrick and Megan Linville
- Sunday, Sept. 28 at 2:45 p.m.: Matt Warren and Robinson Treacher
