Nervous Nellie’s, remembering Piratefests from previous years, is trying to revive an old tradition all day this Saturday.
The event will feature activities for the kids, including pirate themed crafts and face painting from 12-4PM. Games out on the dock all day include Nellie’s famous giant cornhole, a dead arm ring toss game, and a fishing game.
A special food menu will be available including “walk the planks” which is a huge mozzarella plank, ale battered fish and chips, sailors delight and a rum cake. Drink specials include Nervous Nellie’s Rum Punch and a frozen Rumrunner.
Guests are encouraged to dress like pirates for the pirate costume contest with prizes given out later in the evening. There will also be raffles for nervous Nellie’s gift cards and a huge gift basket with over $250 value being the grand prize.
