TPI Hospitality recently announced the hiring of David Cesario as the new Vice President and Opening General Manager of the Margaritaville resort on Fort Myers Beach. David will be our guest tomorrow morning at 9:45.
David joins the TPI with more than 30 years of hotel and resort operations experience.
In his most recent role David was the Hotel Manager at the Orlando World Center Marriott for the past three years. overseeing 1,400 people. That hotel has 2,010 rooms, nine restaurants, over 400,000 feet of meeting space, an 18-hole golf course, full-service spa, and waterpark.
David’s previous roles include General Manager at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, Area General Manager of the Miami Airport Campus, General Manager at the Boston Marriott Quincy, and Area General Manager at the Detroit Marriott Troy. Prior to these leadership roles David served in multiple executive committee positions in both the rooms and food & beverage disciplines throughout the country.
