Construction on the new Margaritaville resort at the foot of the bridge on Fort Myers beach will begin August 16th.
Once the construction begins, you’ll notice the old buildings being demolished followed by non-stop construction.
Between now and August 16th TPY will be doing infrastructure improvements to include sanitary sewer, electric service and storm water lines utilizing the Town’s contractor for some of this work.
It’s been 17 years since Hurricane Charley came through Ft Myers Beach wreaking havoc in an area that left the area in ruins for nearly 2 decades.
